ERP North invested 320 thousand leva in rehabilitation of air network in Varna

Elektrodistribuenie North continues to invest funds in materials and equipment for the renovation of the electricity distribution network in Varna region within the framework of its investment and repair program for 2018. In the last month, the company's specialists carried out repair and replacement of low-voltage overhead network at several substations in 4 populated places on the territory of the district.

During the rehabilitation, more than 35 thousand meters of twisted insulated wire were inserted into the electricity distribution network serving the cities of Devnya and Suvorovo, and the villages of Pchelnik and Esenitsa, located respectively in the municipalities of Dolni Chiflik and Valchi dol. Replacing bare wires in these areas from the low-voltage network with twisted ones guarantees a higher security of electricity supply before the upcoming winter season. Insulated overhead power lines perform the same function, but are not as affected by weather conditions such as blizzards and icicles. With the renovation of the network, 36 concrete pillars along the route of the cable lines were also replaced. Installation of electricity meter panels and new connection of nearly 250 electricity users was carried out.

The total value of the purchased and invested materials in the rehabilitation of the network in the four settlements amounted to BGN 320,000. Thanks to the investment, 1200 customers of Elektrodistribuenie Sever will receive more secure and reliable electricity supply.
