ERP North invested BGN 320,000 in the construction of a new network in Varna's Borovets South district

Elektrodistribuenie North has completed a phase of an investment project worth 320,000 leva for the construction of a new network in Varna's Borovets South area. Specialists of the company laid 200 reinforced concrete pillars and installed 5200 meters of twisted insulated wires with high resistance to bad weather conditions. The investment also includes the replacement of a power transformer and the installation of 150 new electrical panels.
The newly built electricity distribution network will improve the power supply of customers and lead to a significant reduction in electricity losses in the area. The activities under the current phase of the project were planned and completed immediately before the start of the winter season. Along with the regularly carried out prevention of the facilities, the modernization of the network ensures its effective operation in winter conditions and ensures the continuity of the learning process for students during their distance learning.
The rehabilitation of the electricity distribution network in North-East Bulgaria and the provision of quality electricity supply is a priority in the activities of ERP North. In the current year, the planned work of the teams was seriously hampered due to the decision taken in the country to suspend the repairs of electricity distribution companies during the state of emergency in the spring. The Borovets South region is one of the rapidly developing in Varna region with increasing consumption and number of inhabitants, which necessitates investments in upgrading the network. The future activities of the company are planned in coordination with the local government and in accordance with the need for the sustainability of the facilities in winter conditions.
