Annual growth of 10% of electronic invoices reported by ENERGO-PRO
More than half a million electronic invoices were sent by the companies of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group for the period January-August 2019, which means that on average more than 67 thousand customers receive paperless electricity bills per month. Compared to the same period of the last three years, the company has achieved growth of 25% or an average of 10% year-on-year. It is estimated that in order to produce a paper invoice, consisting of an average of one page, about 50 g of carbon dioxide is emitted into the atmosphere. Thus, in one year the company, thanks to its customers, who preferred a non-paper option, managed to save nature a minimum of 37 tons of harmful gas and “save” nearly 900 trees.
In terms of payments made by customers, more than 5.5 million bills for electricity and additional services were paid non-cash in the past year. Companies expect the positive trend in favor of electronic operations to continue. For the first eight months of this year, nearly 4 million monthly obligations were paid with these methods.
ENERGO-PRO reminds its customers that in addition to the extremely important environmental benefits, the use of electronic channels for obtaining tax documents and servicing payments is a modern, convenient and easy way to comprehensively manage utilities.
