The first three projects were selected for funding under the “ENERGO-PRO for society” program

Innovative playground on the territory of kindergarten “Zdravets” in the village of Parvomaytsi is the first project that will be supported with financial resources under the social initiative of ENERGO-PRO launched in early September in support of local communities “ENERGO-PRO for society”. Most of the applications received so far in the company from children's and municipal institutions throughout the country are in the direction of “Child Development”, there are those for energy efficiency, as well as for the construction of environmental values.

The basis of the winning project of DG “Zdravets” is the creation and equipping of a modern playground. The innovative idea is to use a built-in generator in the children's play equipment to capture the kinetic energy that the children spend on the playground, then it will be used to create additional entertainment for them — sounds, light, music. This will enable children to gain a new sense of interactive contact with the environment, while at the same time instilling in them ecological thinking and a sense of saving energy.

Another project, which won funding from ENERGO-PRO, has bet on psychotherapy with art and helps small patients in the pediatric oncohematology clinic in Plovdiv to relax and calm down, to isolate themselves emotionally from worries about the disease and to mobilize their strong coping resources, drawing, modeling, under the special guidance psychologist and art therapist. The art therapy program aims at healing recovery of small patients through fun creative activities.

The project of the largest kindergarten in the city of Kavarna, where 140 children between the ages of 3 and 6 are currently being educated, will also be financially supported. A mobile playground for road safety will be built. Through play, children will be able to get acquainted with the rules of traffic on the roads, as well as the technical means of organizing and regulating traffic. The shape, size and content are intended to be in a small size of a road network filled with vertical signage (road signs and traffic lights) and horizontal markings.

More projects are to be selected by the Management Board of ENERGO-PRO Varna, the financing of which will be provided by the end of this year. “ENERGO-PRO for society” is a long-term project of the company, in which you can apply at any time in any of the listed at https://www.energo-pro.bg/bg/energo-pro-za-obshtestvotodirections. Beneficiaries can be children's educational institutions, centers for working with children, municipalities throughout the country. Priority is given to projects that form attitudes and develop values to promote sustainable development in the six strands of the initiative.
