KEVR approves new electricity prices in Bulgaria from 1 July

The Commission for Energy and Water Regulation adopted by Decision C-14/30.06.2023 new electricity prices, which for ENERGO-PRO's domestic customers are as follows: daily tariff — 0.22483 BGN/kWh, night tariff — 0.12686 BGN/kWh, excluding VAT. The average increase is 5.43%, with prices taking effect from July 1, 2023.

The accounting of the electricity consumed by domestic customers will be carried out according to the schedule by the employees of the electricity distribution company of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group. The reporting period in the invoices, including the price change, will be divided into two sub-periods — old prices up to June 30 inclusive and new prices from July 1. According to the regulated methodology, the consumed electricity will be distributed in proportion to the days before and after the price change based on average daily consumption.

As with any change in electricity prices, the company will once again enable self-reporting of customer readings. Until the end of the day on 01.07.2023, every customer of ENERGO-PRO on a regulated market who wishes to take advantage of the possibility of self-reporting can declare the electricity meter data by e-mail info@erpsever.bg, on phones 0700 1 61 61 or 0700 359 10, as well as in a convenient for him service center of the company in district cities. It is necessary, together with the provision of the reported readings, the client indicates his client and subscriber number in order to ensure the correctness of their reflection in the company's data system.
