EWRC approves new electricity prices from July 1
By Decision No. C-19 of July 1, 2019, the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation approved new electricity prices. For ENERGO-PRO's domestic customers, the new final price on a regulated market is 0.19582 BGN/kWh for a daily tariff and 0.10840 BGN/kWh for a night tariff, excluding VAT. Until now, the price for households was 0,19049 BGN/kWh. for a daily tariff and 0,10545 BGN/kWh. for a night tariff. The average increase for domestic customers was 2.8%.
In connection with the change, which comes into force on 01.07.2019, ENERGO-PRO provides its customers in North-East Bulgaria with the opportunity to self-report their electricity consumption. All those who wish to take advantage can do so by July 7 inclusive, by submitting their meter readings on the 24-hour phone of Elektrodistribuenie Sever 0700 1 61 61, by e-mail info@erpsever.bg or by visiting the Customer Service Center most convenient for them. When providing the data, it is necessary for the customer to indicate a customer and subscriber number.
Submission of testimonials by customers does not cancel the regular report. The specialists of Elektrodistribuenie Sever will continue to carry out the regular accounting of consumed electricity according to the previously announced schedule, which is published on the company's website at the address: https://www.erpsever.bg/bg/Grafik-za-otchitane-na-elektroenergiya-Bitovi-klienti.
According to the regulated methodology, the electricity consumed by customers who did not take advantage of the possibility of self-reporting will be proportionally distributed at the old and new prices depending on the number of days before and after the change included in their individual reporting period. The invoices for the reporting period, which includes the change in prices, will contain two subperiods — period on the old prices up to and including June 30, 2019 and on the new ones — from July 1, 2019.
