In view of the increased consumption in December 2016, ENERGO-PRO gives its customers the opportunity to reschedule their electricity bills. Customers of the company who have difficulty meeting their obligations on time can submit a request for rescheduling at the most convenient for them customer center. The company's specialists will consider each received request and contact the client to offer him an individual rescheduling scheme.

The average bill for December 2016 of households in North-East Bulgaria is BGN 45 and is 10% higher compared to the same period of 2015. The reason for the increase is the sharp cold — the average temperature according to NIMH data in December 2016 was 4.3 degrees lower than in the same month of the previous year.

The significantly colder winter continued the trend of increasing electricity consumption in early January. In the first 10 days of the year, ENERGO-PRO reported 6.5% higher consumption compared to last year. The peak of consumption in the current winter season was recorded on January 11, when the electricity consumption of ENERGO-PRO customers was 61.7% higher compared to the same date in 2016.

Low temperatures are reflected on the amount of the bill depending on the individual consumption style of each household. More and more families are optimizing their electricity costs by improving the efficiency of their consumption, using energy-saving appliances and insulation.
