“Sveti Nikola” area near Varna with new electricity network
The power distribution company ENERGO-PRO Grids, serving North-East Bulgaria, has built a new section of electricity network in the area of “Sveti Nikola” on the territory of the city of Varna.
The low-voltage network in the area is of a mixed type — one part is built with underground lines, another — with overhead lines. In the implementation of the project, the company laid 1855 meters of underground cables, installed 24 reinforced concrete pillars and 1612 meters of twisted insulated wires. They are more resistant to temperature changes, strong winds, snowdrifts and icing in winter.
Within the framework of the project, 32 new meter panels were installed on the border of private property and 103 meters with better technical characteristics.
The area “Sveti Nikola” is part of the villa zone of Varna, which has been significantly built up in recent years. ENERGO-PRO renovated and expanded the electricity distribution network to ensure reliable electricity supply to residents in the area. The newly built network will accommodate the growing consumption and provide an opportunity for new customers to join.
The reconstruction, in which the company invested BGN 108,000, was finalized in October. A month earlier, the company implemented another project worth BGN 122 000 for the renovation of the electricity distribution network in the highly developed area of Sveti Nikola area — Briz district.
ENERGO-PRO Networks maintains and serves 42,492 km of high, medium and low voltage power distribution network on a licensed territory of 30,000 sq. km, in North-East Bulgaria.
