More than 100 teams of ERP North eliminated hundreds of accidents on the electricity distribution network in North-East Bulgaria
The company mobilizes electricians from all over its territory in the most affected areas
More than 100 settlements in North-East Bulgaria are now with electricity restored after the many accidents caused by the severe weather situation in recent days. The heavy snowfall that fell led to the icing of numerous power lines, and in addition, downed trees tore wires in sections of the network and broke poles, the replacement of which requires technological time. Work continues on the restoration of electricity supply in 95 settlements on the territory of Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo and Targovishte regions.
More than 250 electricians of ERP North and teams of companies subcontracted to the company are engaged in the restoration of the electricity supply. The difficult to access mountainous and rugged terrain in some of the affected areas makes it difficult for employees to access and delays the remediation activities at the facilities. An additional challenge for the work of the teams is low temperatures, heavy wet snow and accumulated drifts in some sections. The meteorological situation remains dynamic, especially in some areas of Gabrovo region. The committed teams of the electricity distribution company will continue to work until the full restoration of electricity supply to all settlements left without electricity due to the complicated winter situation.
