At the end of June 2017 ENERGO-PRO completed another stage of the project for reconstruction and repair of equipment at Leventa substation in Ruse. The value of the realized investment amounts to BGN 65,000. The energy object is located in sq. Druzhba-I in the Danube city and has a 110 kV open distribution system with two power transformers. Thanks to the renovation, the reliability of the substation, which supplies nearly 32,000 households and businesses in the city, will be improved.

Within the framework of the reconstruction carried out, specialists of the electricity distribution company carried out the replacement of the equipment and furniture in the power plant. A new 110 kV electric circuit breaker has been installed — one of the modern types of circuit breakers, which has significant advantages over other types of equipment of this type. The facility is characterized by increased operational durability and provides the highest degree of reliability of network operation in case of breakdowns and in situations of severe weather conditions. Renovation at Leventa substation also included installation of new technologically advanced support insulators, 110kV disconnector and infrastructure repairs.

The realized investment in Leventa substation is another in the last 5 years in the facility, which is key for the electricity supply in the city of Ruse. Since 2012, ENERGO-PRO has invested over BGN 850,000 in the modernization of its equipment — modern digital relay protection and auxiliary relay equipment, signal and control cables, medium voltage vacuum circuit breakers and equipment in the open distribution system.
