Elektrodistribuenie North invested more than 300 thousand leva in a new air network in the Dolna Traka area of Varna

At the end of September, ERP North built a completely new low-voltage overhead cable line in Dolna Traka area, located on the outskirts of the maritime capital. The newly built power distribution network is powered by a mast transformer substation.
With the investment of more than BGN 300,000, five new aerial branches were built from the new substation, with 120 pieces of reinforced concrete pillars and 76 pieces of steel pipe poles. The current low-voltage network required the investment of means for renovation, as it was damped, filled with old generation wires and, accordingly, its operation implied frequent emergency power outages, as well as variations in the voltage level. The new twisted insulated wire has much better indicators of durability and quality, and its total length is 12 kilometers. Thanks to the project completed by ERP North, more than 350 households will be connected to the newly built network and will receive a more secure electricity supply of quality that meets the regulatory requirements.
With the investment made, the electricity distribution company continues its consistent policy of investing funds for the construction of new networks in villa areas and settlements near large cities. This is due to the constant growth of new customers in these areas, caused by the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 and the resulting additional load on the network. Apart from the Trakata area, investments are also made in Rakitnika, Borovets South, Vinitsa, Alen mak, Zelenika, Menteche, St. Nicola, Akchelar.
