Restriction imposed on the production of electricity from renewable energy sources in the territory of North-East Bulgaria by order of ESO

Today, April 2, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ENERGO-PRO Networks will limit the production of electricity from renewable energy sources on the territory of North-Eastern Bulgaria. Production is limited to 40% of the maximum installed capacity of power plants, due to the impossibility of maintaining a balance between production and consumption of electrical energy in the electricity system. The restriction is at the discretion of the Electricity System Operator. There is no restriction imposed only on power plants connected to General Toshevo, Kavarna, Shabla, Albena and Balchik substations.
