Due to the increased volume of excavation activities in connection with the project for the construction of the Green Zone and new street lighting on the territory of Varna, the accidents caused by the underground electricity distribution network in the city have become more frequent. The most common cause of customer power outages in these cases is hit cables during inconsistent activities of companies subcontracting the project. The next two cases are from this morning, when residents were affected in the area of Blvd. Chataldzha, powered by the Stoletov terminal, as well as those powered by the MEI terminal. Only thanks to the timely intervention of the teams of ERP North, the damage was fixed within about an hour. Accidents also often occur after the activities of companies working on the water supply network.

EPR North appeals to the responsible institutions and the companies involved to be careful in all activities on the underground structure of the city that could violate the integrity of the company's cable electricity distribution network. Pre-coordination of excavation activities in accordance with the underground network of the ERP North will prevent the inconvenience to customers of the lack of power supply due to incoherent excavation.
