New debt rescheduling for electricity requested by ENERGO-PRO Dobrich Plumbing
A new scheme for rescheduling obligations for electricity in the amount of BGN 1.5 million has been requested by Energo-PRO for Dobrich Plumbing. The question was raised at a meeting of the Regional Governor of Dobrich, Nedko Marchev, the Manager of ENERGO-PRO, Stefan Abadzhiev, and the Deputy Manager of the Water Supply Company, Ivan Stoykov, which took place yesterday, August 26, 2013.
In the last few days, Dobrich Plumbing partially paid off the arrears for electricity, but a large part of them, for which an agreement was signed, remain unpaid. Due to the inability of the water company to meet the agreed terms of current payments, the management of Dobrich Plumbing has made a request for a new rescheduling of the debt of BGN 1.5 million from now until the end of January 2014. The manager of ENERGO-PRO explained that the company's management will carefully consider the request of the water supply company and will proceed to signing only if it is sure that real business and financial parameters are behind it. “We accept the proposal of the Office Manager to create a working group of experts from both companies to develop the text and terms of a new agreement. It is important for us to find a workable rescheduling option, ensuring compliance with the agreed deadlines.”, said Mr. Stefan Abadzhiev
At the beginning of the week, ENERGO-PRO started a phased shutdown of the supply of water supply facilities of Dobrich water supply, which do not violate the water supply on the territory of the district. The shutdown schedule was agreed in advance with the water company, and the district governor and the mayor of the city were informed of the upcoming measures before they were taken.
During the meeting, a request was made not to turn off the power supply to the administrative building of the Dobrich Water Supply System, since it is there that the server of the dispatch center, from which the water flows are managed, is located. The manager of ENERGO-PRO undertakes to personally monitor the outage process in order to prevent server shutdown. The district governor stressed that the foreclosure of the building will hamper the work of the water company in collecting old debts, which are currently between 9 and 10 million, as well as in collecting claims from customers of Plumbing.
Special attention was paid to the issue of the exclusion of the Dobrich water supply facilities related to water supply. According to the preliminary schedule, after September 10, it is planned to begin a phased shutdown of facilities that provide water supply to areas around the city, and subsequently to others that supply water to urban areas. The three sides agreed that a disruption that would disrupt the water supply should not be allowed. “We are ready to review the planned exclusion measures after September 10, in the event that a solution is found to repay the debt or an acceptable option of rescheduling with guaranteed compliance with the contributions under the scheme agreed between the two companies.”, said Mr. Abadzhiev.
The Regional Governor announced that he initiated the creation of a Public Council of the Regional Administration, the first meeting of which is scheduled to be held in mid-September with the participation of the Mayor of Dobrich, representatives of the general public and various public institutions, non-governmental organizations and the media, with the first topic to be discussed will be “Water of Dobrich”.
