UBB uses 100% green electricity from ENERGO-PRO Energy Services

United Bulgarian Bank AD joined the companies purchasing 100% green energy from ENERGO-PRO. This is a natural continuation of UBB's plan to reduce the environmental footprint of its activities.

The certificate for 100% green energy, which proves that the energy supplied to its owner is produced from renewable sources, was officially presented to Teodor Marinov, Executive Director of UBB Legasi, by Boyan Karshakov, Manager of ENERGO-PRO Energy Services. “Sustainable and responsible behaviour towards society and the environment is at the heart of UBB's overall corporate social responsibility policy. The Bank continuously invests in the use and promotion of the development of environmentally friendly technologies. At all our sites, waste is collected separately, and the new building, which houses the bank's headquarters, as well as in the country offices, energy-efficient technologies are used. The purchase of green energy from ENERGO-PRO is a natural continuation of a comprehensive process,” said Teodor Marinov, Executive Director of UBB Legasi upon receiving the certificate.
