Telus Tower office building and hotel complex Euphoria Club Hotel and Resort are the new consumers of green energy from ENERGO-PRO Energy Services

Another Bulgarian company became a member of the community of consumers of 100% green energy supplied by ENERGO-PRO Energy Services. I&B Real Estate AD, owned by Aikon Ltd., a subsidiary of GEK TERNA Group, already uses energy supplied by the leading energy trader, obtained in an environmentally friendly way. Both companies invest in projects and construction of business buildings and tourist sites. Since August 2018, the energy used by the Telus Tower Business Center, located in the central part of the capital, as well as the hotel complex Euphoria Club Hotel and Resort in Borovets resort, has been entirely produced from renewable energy sources.

Mr. Boyan Karshakov, Manager of ENERGO-PRO Energy Services presented special certificates for 100% green energy to Euripides Amiridis, facility manager of the business building and to Kleonika Georgiadou, member of the board of directors of I&B Real Estate AD.

“We make every effort to ensure that the buildings we invest in meet the ever-increasing requirements for energy efficiency and the sparing consumption of natural resources. The 26-storey Telus Tower building is constructed and executed with a local energy-saving hot water system, extensive use of glass panels to ensure maximum use of natural light, as and a number of measures for the optimal use of natural resources. Established as one of the innovative buildings in Sofia, with a design based on sustainable characteristics, it is one of the few office buildings certified by BREEAM for project sustainability. Our joining of the renewable energy consumers of ENERGO-PRO Energy Services is another step in our commitment to the prudent use of environmental resources”, shared Mr. Amiridis.

In addition to the possibility of supplying completely green energy, ENERGO-PRO Energy Services offers its customers energy inspection of buildings, as well as comprehensive solutions to achieve maximum energy efficiency.

ENERGO-PRO Energy Services promotes the production and trade of electricity generated in an environmentally friendly way. The company issues Green Energy Certificates, assuring that the electricity sold is produced entirely from renewable sources. The document is based on Guarantees of Origin issued by the Agency for Sustainable Energy Development, which are owned by ENERGO-PRO Energy Services. Since the beginning of 2016, the company has awarded dozens of certificates for 100% renewable energy and has counted thousands of guarantees of origin of the supplied electricity to companies operating in various sectors of the Bulgarian economy — industry, banking sector, tourism and trade.
