The production of electricity from renewable energy sources is limited in the territory of North-East Bulgaria

Today, March 20, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ENERGO-PRO Networks limits the production of electricity from photovoltaic and wind power plants in the territory of North-East Bulgaria. Production is limited to 40% of the maximum installed capacity of power plants. The restriction is at the discretion of the Electricity System Operator, due to the need to maintain a balance between production and consumption in the electricity system. There is no restriction imposed only on power plants connected to General Toshevo, Kavarna, Shabla, Albena and Balchik substations.
