A platform for storks was installed by teams of ERP North in the Varna village of Sava

This week, a platform for a stork nest was installed on a reinforced concrete pole from the power distribution network of ERP North in the Varna village of Sava, Dalgopol municipality. The installation of the bird protection facility was scheduled for implementation by the teams of the electricity distribution company already in the spring, but it was necessary to wait for the nesting period of the birds to end and, accordingly, for them to migrate south. Stork families have a habit of returning every year to the places where they built a nest. Securing the reinforced concrete pole with a stork platform to protect the birds from falling under stress is a prerequisite for their calm and secure breeding of next year's generation.

EPR North has a long-term commitment to the conservation of birds in its licensed territory. The company makes regular investments in this direction and maintains contact with the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds, with which it cooperates and implements joint projects.
