ENERGO-PRO customers consumed about 3% less electricity during the period 24-27 December compared to the same days in 2014. This is shown by the data of the company, which supplies electricity to 1.1 million consumers in the districts of Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Ruse, Silistra, Dobrich, Razgrad, Targovishte and Shumen. For the four weekends around Christmas, the total amount of electricity consumed by ENERGO-PRO customers was nearly 62 thousand megawatt hours. In the same days of 2014, about 2,000 megawatt hours more were consumed.

According to ENERGO-PRO specialists, the likely reason for the lower electricity consumption during this year's Christmas holidays is the extremely warm weather for the season. The most serious is the decline in consumption in Varna region. Only in the districts of Dobrich and Razgrad there was a higher electricity consumption compared to the Christmas holidays in 2014.

On the eve of the New Year holidays, 74 emergency teams of ENERGO-PRO Networks continue to be in full readiness to react in a timely manner in case of damage to electrical facilities in North-East Bulgaria. They are fully equipped with the necessary materials, tools, personal protective equipment and clothing. As in past years, when the winter situation in individual regions is complicated, the company has prepared plans to redeploy additional equipment and equipment from one area to another. In the event of an emergency, 396 teams are available. There are 410 off-road vehicles, 317 team vehicles with normal cross-country ability and 149 specialized vehicles — excavators, cranes, trucks and others.

Employees of the company will continue to report the consumed electricity on the usual schedule and on weekends in order to comply with the regulated reporting deadline within 31 days. Customers who have failed to pay their bills for consumed electricity during the last working days of the year can also do so on December 31, when the cash desks of our partners from Bulgarian Posts will work. We remind you that until January 4, 2016, the company will not stop supplying electricity to its customers who have not paid their electricity bill on time. During the New Year holidays there will be no planned power outages on the territory serviced by ENERGO-PRO.
