Improving efficiency in joint work discussed by the managers of ENERGO-PRO and the Mayor of Varna Blagomir Kotsev

Today in Varna took place another meeting of the planned program of the managers of ENERGO-PRO to discuss topics of mutual interest with representatives of the local authority in the licensed territory of the company.

The main focus of the meeting with the new mayor Blagomir Kotsev was the joint actions between the electricity distribution company and the local authority in case of disasters and accidents. In a situation like the one observed in the last few weekends, it is imperative that the emergency headquarters of ENERGO-PRO and the Municipality, together with the Regional Government, coordinate operationally the measures taken to minimize the consequences on the residents and as quickly as possible return to the normal rhythm of life.

The mayor of Varna undertook to start work on the problem of the missing detailed development plans (PUPs) in the villa zones and suburban regions. The managers of ENERGO-PRO Angel Angelov and Angela Toneva shared that this makes it difficult to build new networks that will improve the quality of electricity supply. In order to optimize the efforts and prevent unnecessary inconveniences for the residents of Varna, Mr. Kotsev undertook to coordinate the repair work started by the Municipality with the responsible persons in the electricity distribution company.

During this week meetings were also held with the mayors of Razgrad, Silistra, Targovishte, Gorna Oryahovitsa. The focus everywhere was the severe weather conditions over the past weekend and earlier in the month of November. Plans were discussed for effective and coordinated joint actions to quickly deal with other force majeure circumstances — the provision of passable roads by local authorities, the provision of connectivity by the electricity network operator ESO, as well as other factors limiting the ability of the teams of the ERA North to react in the interconnected infrastructure system. Last but not least, the parties expressed concern about the circulating media suggestions by various public figures and institutions and the promotion of hate speech and the tolerance of acts violating the established legal public order in the ENERGO-PRO customer service centers.
