More than 30 participants have participated in the “Young Electrician” and “Scholarship Program” programs in the last three years

The electricity distribution company in Northeastern Bulgaria, ERP North, has started recruiting candidates to participate in its paid career programs for the academic year 2021/2022. They can include both 12th grade students studying electrical engineering specialties, and students in 3rd and 4th year, preparing in the same professional direction. Those wishing to apply for the programs can obtain more information about them at the Internet address https://erpsever.bg/bg/karieri/stajantski-programi, from where they can download and complete a declaration of participation. Unfortunately, despite the aggravating epidemic situation caused by COVID-19, the company continues its tradition of investing in youth employment programs for the purpose of training and practical training of young professionals. In the last three years, of the more than 30 students who have completed the programs, 10 have been assigned to permanent positions and continue their professional path at ERP North.

In the “Young Electrician” program, future energy engineers from vocational high schools in North-East Bulgaria will have the opportunity, under the leadership of a team of electricians at ERP North, to enrich their technical knowledge and at the same time to participate in real work processes, part of the daily activities of everyone related to the profession. Students from technical universities, in turn, with the mentorship of employees of the company with many years of experience and knowledge in the field, will be able to take part in practice and get to know first-hand the work of the energy specialist. Both programs have a duration of 40 working hours per month, and together with the financial incentive, they give the opportunity to choose a flexible implementation schedule according to the participants' employment.

Taking into account the successful implementation of the two paid career programs in the past campaigns, achieved with the assistance of educational institutions, ERP North again proactively promotes its initiatives among high schools and universities in North-East Bulgaria, which prepare personnel in the field of energy. The company's internship and scholarship programs are part of the targeted policy of ERP North to provide the opportunity for future energy professionals to touch the real working environment during their educational process and enrich their knowledge from the best experts in the industry.
