The problem of the debt of the Pulmonary Hospital for electricity remains unsolved
ENERGO-PRO will proceed to discontinue the power supply of the health facility in December
ENERGO-PRO sent another reminder letter to the manager of the Lung Hospital in Varna about the unpaid obligations for consumed electricity in the amount of nearly 80,000 leva. In it, the company indicates a schedule for an upcoming power outage in December in case of non-payment of the accumulated amounts and reminds of the need for zero category facilities, such as health facilities, to have autonomous and independent power supply for special installations and life support systems. As a result, the necessary actions should be taken to check and bring the generator systems up and running in the hospital. In a press release dated November 7, ENERGO-PRO alerted the public and the responsible institutions about the problem of debt and informed about another letter sent by the company a few days earlier to the Municipality of Varna and Varna City Council with an appeal for the future of the tube dispensary to be decided. The letter was filed with the Municipality of Varna on November 3, 2022 with reg. № ZK20001745WN_046WN/03.11.2022, despite the public statements of individual members of the City Council that they are not aware of it. In a copy of the letter are also the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Energy, CEFR, DANS, Varna Regional Administration, Fire Safety and Protection of the Population.
At the present time, the problem with the Lung Hospital remains open and a working solution by the institutions has not been found. Meanwhile, the debt continues to rise. The maintenance of high indebtedness and the existence of uncollected amounts for the services provided by ENERGO-PRO, even for healthcare facilities, put the company's activities in serious liquid jeopardy and require this extreme measure to be taken. In the meantime, finding a solution to the growing debt, including when signing an agreement on deferred payment, the company is ready to cancel the planned actions in order to collect the outstanding obligations.
