The production of electricity from solar farms and wind power plants connected to the power distribution network of ENERGO-PRO Grids will be limited tomorrow, June 17, from 10:00 to 17:00. The limitation of the production of electricity from renewable sources (RES) by 40% is at the discretion of the Electricity System Operator, due to the need to maintain a balance between production and consumption in the electricity system.

On the territory of Dobrich region, all photovoltaic power plants will be limited and only those wind power plants that are connected to substations “Nona”, “Tervel”, “Dobrich”, “Krushari” and “Favorit”. The production of electricity from renewable energy sources connected to all substations will be limited on the territory of the remaining districts in North-Eastern Bulgaria.
