Inspection of DKEVR in two distribution centers of ENERGO-PRO has been completed
No errors found in the meter report
The inspection of the State Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (DCEVR) in the distribution centers of ENERGO-PRO in Shumen and Gorna Oryahovitsa took place on February 12 and 13, 2013. The experts of DKEVR checked the quality of service and the information that is provided in the customer service centers, the readings of the electricity meters, and the accuracy of the instruments was established with a benchmark.
The results of the check show that there is no deviation in the readings of the electricity meters. This means that customer consumption is accounted for correctly and the bills are real. Out of a total of 14 verified cases selected by the examining experts, only one meter was suspected of inaccuracy, but after checking at the Bulgarian Institute of Metrology (BIM), it was found that the meter measured accurately. In the course of the inspection by the DKEVR, at one of the verified signals, with a fully upright meter, a minimum deviation in the voltage (from 2 volts) from the established standard was found. The company is taking measures to fix the problem.
Despite the good results of the inspection of the DKEVR, ENERGO-PRO continues to check the readings of electricity meters and the condition of the devices according to customer signals and on its own initiative. Next week, in the presence of customers and the media, the company's specialists will check electricity meters, where there is a reported higher consumption than usual for this period of the year. “We will make this check completely transparent in order to dispel any doubts about the correctness of the accounts for the month of January,” said Maria Dimitrova, Director of Customer Service at ENERGO-PRO.
