Public discussion of draft of new General Terms and Conditions of Elektrodistribuenie Sever AD

Elektrodistribuenie North AD has developed a draft of General Terms and Conditions for access and transmission of electric energy through the electricity distribution network (General Terms and Conditions). The project complies with the provision of Art. 104a, para. 1 of the Energy Act and regulates the company's relations with all end customers whose facilities are connected to the electricity distribution network, regardless of which market they are supplied with electricity — regulated, free or from a supplier of last resort.

The Energy Act also provides for the company to draw up Rules for Working with Users of Energy Services (Rules for Working with Consumers) as part of the General Terms and Conditions. They regulate the procedure and time limits for receiving, examining, checking and responding to complaints, alerts and suggestions, the format of consumption data and the procedure by which consumers gain access to them.

The General Terms and Conditions and the Rules for Working with Consumers are subject to approval by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC). Before submitting them for approval to the EWRC, the company should conduct a public consultation procedure. In this regard, on 07.04.2021 Elektrodistribuenie North AD launched a procedure for public discussion of the draft General Terms and Conditions and the draft Rules for Working with Users of Energy Services.
