Power Line Reconstruction Ensures More Secure Power Supply for 3,400 Households in Dobrichko

ENERGO-PRO Networks has launched a project for reconstruction of part of the overhead power distribution network in Dobrichka municipality with a total value of BGN 250,000. The company plans to replace more than 30,000 meters of overhead wire and 102 reinforced concrete pillars with a total track length of 10,150 meters. The purpose of the renovation works is to take over the increasing consumption of electricity and generation from renewable energy sources in the area of the village of Karapelit.

The investment is carried out by reconstructing facilities entirely in the easement zones of the medium-voltage power line passing through the lands of the villages of Karapelit, Medovo, Enevo, Benkovski and Vladimirovo. ENERGO-PRO Networks coordinates its activities with the mayors of settlements and informs them about the stages of the repair of the overhead power distribution line in Dobrichka municipality.

Along with the replacement of the elements of the electricity distribution network, 300 bird protection sleeves will be installed along the power poles to protect the birds during their stay in the area.

The reconstruction of the power line is part of the Company's Investment Program for 2017. The overhaul will further increase the reliability of the power supply for the company's nearly 3,400 customers in the designated areas.
