Reconstruction worth BGN 200,000 will guarantee more stable electricity supply to 11 settlements in the municipality of Aksakovo

In September, ENERGO-PRO completed a project for upgrading a medium voltage network on the territory of Aksakovo municipality, Varna region. The total value of the investment invested in the renovation amounts to nearly BGN 200,000.

Within the framework of the implemented project, reconstruction was carried out of a section located along the route of the overhead power lines “Krumovo” and “Novakovo” between the village of Charbon and the Lyuben Karavelovo node station. The renovation included the replacement of wires with a total length of 30 kilometers, the installation of 50 pieces of steel-concrete pillars, as well as 330 modern insulators. In addition to the repairs carried out, in the autumn-winter period, the power distribution company provides for the installation of 200 pieces of bird protection devices in the area of the repaired section. Their installation will protect migratory birds during the migration period from falling under voltage when landing on the poles of the power line. In addition, it will prevent short interruptions in the power supply and the potential occurrence of emergency situations when the feathered come into contact with the air network.

The renewal of the elements of the electricity distribution network in the municipality of Aksakovo will reduce to a minimum the emergency disconnections on the route of the Krumovo and Novakovo wind turbines. Thanks to the investment, the quality of power supply to nearly 4,500 ENERGO-PRO customers from 11 settlements in the region will be significantly improved. These are the villages of Izvorsko, Zornitsa, Voditsa, Zasmyano, Lyuben Karavelovo, Krumovo, Novakovo, Pyasachnik, Radevo, Botevo, Novo Botevo.
