Repair of overhead power lines owned by ESO

From the beginning of April, the Electricity System Operator (ESO) plans successive replacement of lightning protection rope on Momchil and Ekrane air lines. The two power lines provide backup power to the substations in the area of Trakata, Golden Sands, Albena, Balchik, Kavarna, Shabla and General Toshevo.

During the repair work, the two air lines owned by ESO will be shut down on schedule, which could impose a restriction on the production of electricity from wind power plants connected to the medium-voltage power lines at Balchik, Kavarna, Shabla and General Toshevo substations.

In order to ensure safe operation of the facilities, ENERGO-PRO Networks must also disconnect all its power lines that intersect with the Momchil and Ekrane air lines, on which the repair will be carried out. The electricity distribution company shall promptly inform its customers about the areas without electricity on the company's website and in the regional press.
