At the end of October, ENERGO PRO Networks teams replaced a sectional disconnector at the Longoz outlet in Borovets - south area near Varna. In recent years, there has been a trend of intensive construction and expansion of the cottage areas near the city, and the company strives to provide reliable electricity supply in these areas. Conclusion “Longoz” is of fundamental importance for the electricity supply of the cottage properties in the south of the Asparuhovo district of Varna and ENERGO-PRO pays serious attention to its maintenance.

At the end of October this year, specialists of the company undertook the replacement of one of the sectional disconnectors at the outlet “Longoz”, which was included in the repair program of ENERGO-PRO Networks. The new equipment was installed on a terrain with a displacement of 80 cm, which proved extremely unfavorable for the placement of the necessary equipment in sufficient proximity to the iron grate pole. This forced the new disconnector, weighing 115 kilograms, to be transferred by hand by the electricians mounted on the pole. Installation was carried out at a height of 13 meters in conditions of strong wind. The role of the distributors is to divide the power line into sections, which minimizes the number of affected customers in the event of accidents or planned repairs to the facilities.

In 2010, the electricity distribution company invested BGN 250,000 in the reconstruction of the Galata power line, which also supplies these areas, including the Borovets - South area. Sectional medium voltage disconnectors were also installed on it. The large-scale reconstruction of the 50-kilometer power line has significantly improved the security and quality of power supply in the area.

ENERGO-PRO continues to upgrade and develop the network in the expanding villa areas near the maritime capital to provide greater flexibility for response to repairs and locating faults, as well as increasing security of power supply.
