Renovations of ESO will cut off the electricity supply of twenty settlements in Varna region early in the morning on Saturday
On 25.03.2023, due to the implementation of pre-emergency construction repair works on the 110 kV Lilia-Galatea power plant owned by Electricity System Operator EAD, the power supply of a large number of customers of ERP North will be interrupted. The cut-off period specified in a notification letter from the ESO to EPR North is from 04.00 to 06.00 on 25 March (Saturday). A number of settlements in the municipalities of Dolni Chiflik, Byala, Avren in Varna region will be affected.
On the part of the electricity distribution company in North-East Bulgaria, a timely organization has been made to notify the affected customers. Published on the company's website, a notification about the planned activities of ESO indicates all the settlements in which it will be necessary to turn off the power supply — Gr. Byala, gr. Dolni chiflik, s. Detelina, s. Krivini, s. Solnik, s. Bardarevo, s. Golitsa, s. Bulair, s. Popovich, s. Dyulino, s. Gospodinovo, s. Gorica, s. Shkorpilovtsi, s. Staro Oryahovo, s. Pchelnik, s. Gorica, s. Kitka, s. Pear, s. Bolyartsi, s. Ravna gora, Poda area, Gorska Baraka area. The mayors and deputy mayors of the settlements have been notified. Information is provided to all hospitals, ROIs of the Ministry of Interior, as well as large economic users working in the territory covered by the interruption.
For other settlements in the municipalities of Avren and Dolni Chiflik that fall within the scope of the repair works, ERP North will implement an alternative power supply scheme in order to limit the area of interruption. The electricity distribution company sent an opinion to the Electricity System Operator that, given the large number of settlements that will remain without electricity, it relies on expeditious execution of the necessary activities and compliance with the power outage time.
