The production of electricity from wind and photovoltaic plants on weekends was reduced by 40%

ENERGO-PRO Grids limited by 40% the production of electricity from wind and photovoltaic plants on the territory of North-East Bulgaria during weekends. The restriction on April 13 and 14, from 11:00 to 17:00, was implemented by order of the Electricity System Operator (ESO). The ESO requirement was justified by the need to maintain a balance between production and consumption in the electricity system. No restriction was imposed only on power plants connected to Kavarna and Balchik substations.
