The production of electricity from wind and photovoltaic plants in Northeastern Bulgaria will be limited by 40% on May 11

The production of electricity from solar farms and wind power plants connected to the power distribution network of ENERGO-PRO Grids will be limited tomorrow, May 11, from 10:00 to 17:00. The limitation of the production of electricity from renewable sources (RES) of 40% is at the discretion of the Electricity System Operator, due to the need to maintain a balance between production and consumption in the electricity system. The order does not apply to wind farms connected to substations Shabla, General Toshevo, Kavarna and Balchik. The company notifies the plants, which tomorrow must limit their production.
