The average January account of ENERGO-PRO customers is 51 BGN
The average electricity bill of customers in North-East Bulgaria for January is 51.77 BGN. This is shown by the data of ENERGO-PRO. The company supplies electricity to 1.1 million consumers in the districts of Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Ruse, Silistra, Dobrich, Razgrad, Targovishte and Shumen. January bills include peak consumption during the New Year holidays, and for some customers, that on weekends around Christmas.
The bills for January this year are about 4% higher than those for the same month of 2014, when the average bill was 49.48 leva. Last year, however, the price of electricity was increased in July and October due to the difficult financial situation of NEC.
In order to report on time the electricity consumed by customers and to strictly comply with the reporting deadline within 31 days, the company's accountants worked during the holidays and weekends around Christmas and New Year. In addition, in order not to allow a reporting period longer than the legally permissible, ENERGO-PRO also carried out an interim report on a group of clients from North-East Bulgaria.
In order to create more opportunities for households to monitor their consumption, ENERGO-PRO is preparing a new online service. It will be available to the company's domestic customers next month.
