ENERGO-PRO interns continue their career in the company
Of the 15 young people who completed their internship, 12 continue in a permanent position
Since the beginning of the year, a total of 40 young people have started an internship at ENERGO-PRO under the operational program “Human Resources Development 2014-2020”, procedure “Youth Employment”, and 7 new ones are expected to join the company within days. Well-established experts from different departments assist young people in acquiring knowledge and practical skills in the field of energy. With the start of their professional path in an organization with corporate traditions such as ENERGO-PRO, the trainees are given the opportunity to gain valuable experience and boost their future career.
The young specialists appointed under the operational program have occupied places in various units in the companies ENERGO-PRO Varna, ENERGO-PRO Networks and ENERGO-PRO Sales. Of all 15 trainees who completed their 6-month internship under the program, 12 continue in a permanent position.
Lack of practice in the chosen profession is a challenge for young people who have just graduated. ENERGO-PRO supports the program of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and the Employment Agency, not only providing temporary employment to young specialists, but then giving the opportunity to start permanent work in the acquired specialty. “Procedures such as “Youth Employment”, part of the Operational Programme “Human Resources Development 2014-2020”, are suitable for candidates without prior experience in the specialty. Along with this, over the years, the company has always relied on cooperation with the country's vocational high schools and technical universities to find specialized personnel for its positions. Our task is to train these young people and thus give them a chance to develop and establish themselves as future experts with extensive experience in the energy sector”, shared Galina Petkova, Director of Human Resources at ENERGO-PRO.
