Complicated weather situation caused numerous accidents on the power distribution network of ENERGO-PRO Grids

The teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids eliminated numerous accidents on the electricity distribution network caused by strong wind, fallen snow, icing and felled trees in North-East Bulgaria. Hundreds of meters of torn wires and dozens of broken insulators were restored within two days.

As of 17:00 today, 54 villages in the regions of Gabrovo, Targovishte, Veliko Tarnovo and Razgrad are without electricity. The situation in the districts of Gabrovo and Veliko Tarnovo is still complicated, where newly discovered failures left 26 villages in Gabrovo region and 22 in Veliko Tarnovo region without electricity. A total of 6 other villages in the districts of Targovishte (5) and Razgrad (1) are also without electricity. Regardless of adverse weather conditions, the teams will continue to work until all accidents are resolved.
