Within the framework of the “ENERGO-PRO for Society” initiative in 2023, 14 projects worth 80 thousand BGN were financed

For more than 2 years now, through the initiative in support of regional communities “ENERGO-PRO for society”, the energy company has been supporting socially significant public projects in various fields. For the past year 2023, 14 applications were approved, and the total amount donated for their realization is 80 thousand BGN. Among the funded projects are educational rooms in several kindergartens, construction of outdoor eco corners, equipment of specialized offices in vocational high schools of electrical engineering, support of community centers, as well as ennobling the urban environment through graffiti painting of several energy facilities and planting of coniferous trees.

At the beginning of this year, the implementation of the project “Green corners for experimentation” was completed in the yard of DG “Radost, town of Radost”. Zlatograd. Its official opening took place on January 25 in the nursery. The separated corners will be used both for play-cognitive activity, as well as for creative, socio-emotional development and physical activity of children, according to the content in the educational directions “Environment”, “Construction and Technology”, “Mathematics”, “Fine Arts “, “Physical Culture”, etc. Practical activities of children will help increase their cognitive activity and emotional satisfaction through experimental outdoor activities and will build in them play and communication skills, as well as confidence in their own abilities.

Following its strategic ESG vision, ENERGO-PRO will continue to develop initiatives with a social focus in 2024. Priority will be given to considering and approving projects related to educational initiatives in schools and universities in Bulgaria, as well as supporting municipalities in North-East Bulgaria. Applications for funding can be submitted in the areas of “Education”, “Environmental protection”, “Building environmental values”, “Sustainable development of the urban environment”, “Energy efficiency”, “Safe use of electrical appliances and energy facilities”.
