On the World Environment Day, the project “To the Heart of the Village of Strashimirovo” was officially presented in the municipality of Beloslav

Its implementation was carried out with the financial support of ENERGO-PRO

Today in the recreation and fishing area in the village of Strashimirovo, Beloslav municipality, the official opening of a new attraction for the residents and visitors of the village took place - a metal swing type “Heart”. Three separate waste collection containers are placed next to the installed facility, with the idea being to contribute to the formation and construction of environmental values for all those who visit the area for fishing and tourism. The project on the idea of the mayor of the village Kaloyan Nikolov “Towards the Heart of the Village of Strashimirovo” was implemented with funding from the initiative “ENERGO-PRO for society” in the direction “Building environmental values”. Due to the eco-orientation of the project, its official opening took place on June 5 — World Environment Day.

Guests of the event were the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Beloslav, Denitsa Todorova, the Chairman of the Municipal Council Beloslav, Anatoli Apostolov, the Mayor of the village of Strashimirovo, as well as representatives of ENERGO-PRO as a sponsor. During the celebration, the children from the local kindergarten “Nezabravka” greeted the attendees with their dance and singing performances. The children's educational institution, in turn, is also a beneficiary in the social initiative of the energy company. The project called “Eco Corner “Flower Paradise” was implemented in the yard of the kindergarten and its goal is to have a positive impact on working with children, and in particular on building environmentally friendly behavior patterns through the formation of knowledge, skills and attitudes of children towards nature and the environment.

Mrs. Denitsa Todorova expressed gratitude on behalf of all the residents of the village of Strashimirovo for the opportunity to implement the project. It will undoubtedly contribute to the implementation of more joint activities, to the formation of a positive attitude towards nature and sustainable change entirely for the benefit of the local community, which is the basis of the concept of the ENERGO-PRO initiative for society.
