Temporary shutdown of “Kavarna” substation due to reconstruction

At the request of the Electricity System Operator (ESO), during the period from 8:00 a.m. on June 26, 2013 to 5:00 p.m. on June 28, 2013, substation “Kavarna”, owned by the National Electricity Company (NEC), will be shut down due to planned reconstruction and expansion of the open distribution system. Substation “Kavarna” supplies electricity to the area of the municipality of Kavarna.

Access to all electricity producers from plants connected to the substation will be cut off during the period in which ESO will carry out the reconstruction. The producers of electricity from renewable sources (RES) connected to the Sinik terminal will also have limited access to the distribution network on June 25, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., due to planned preparatory activities.
