All settlements in North-East Bulgaria now have electricity

The electricity supply of the settlements in North-Eastern Bulgaria, which were left without electricity due to the winter storm, has already been restored. The teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids have fixed hundreds of electrical equipment accidents caused by strong wind, heavy snowfall and icicles in the last few days.

Today, the company's specialists gained access to the last areas with failed facilities in Silistra district, where roads were impassable since the beginning of the winter storm on Friday.

ENERGO-PRO Grids employees continue to report the extraordinary consumption of customers, which was scheduled to be reported on January 6 and 7. The regular reading of electricity meters during those days was hindered by the impassability of a large part of the roads in Northeastern Bulgaria.

ENERGO-PRO Networks thanked for the cooperation provided by the regional governors, mayors, regional road administrations, the units of the DG “Fire Safety and Protection of the Population”, local farmers and construction companies, who provided high-pass road clearing equipment and helped the teams reach the most impassable areas.
