The power supply of nearly 17,000 customers in 94 settlements in North-East Bulgaria has been restored in the last 5 hours

The emergency teams of ENERGO-PRO are working hard to eliminate the numerous faults on the electricity distribution network. As of 17:00 today, the power supply was restored to nearly 17,000 customers in a total of 94 settlements in the areas most affected by the bad weather situation in the territory of North-East Bulgaria. Although the teams have fixed hundreds of accidents, the situation is dynamic and new, secondary failures are constantly occurring as a result of the severe weather conditions.

As of 17:00 there are 203 settlements on the territory served by the company without electricity: Veliko Tarnovo - 50, Gabrovo - 132, Shumen - 14, Targovishte - 2 and Razgrad - 5.

The work of the teams continues to be difficult, due to the numerous fallen trees and broken branches, which cut the wires and complicate the passage in the areas most affected by the disaster. All emergency teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids are mobilized and strive to restore power supply to as many customers as possible before nightfall. The most serious accidents still remain in the districts of Gabrovo and Veliko Tarnovo, where the company redirected additional resources from the less affected places to repair the damage from the natural element. The dire situation in the two municipalities of Gabrovo and Sevlievo remains unabated.

Despite the harsh conditions, ENERGO-PRO teams continue to work at night to normalize the electricity supply in the disaster areas.
