The program “Young electrician”, aimed at students from vocational schools of electrical engineering, has been completed

Elektrodistribuenie Sever successfully completed the “Young Electrician” program started in October 2019. The program was held in 5 of the 9 regions served by the company - Varna, Ruse, Razgrad, Gorna Oryahovitsa and Gabrovo, among which the students from PGE Varna and PGE M. C. Lomonosov, gr. Gorna Oryahovitsa.

The initiative, implemented for the second year in a row, is welcomed with interest by high school students, because of the opportunity to gain practical experience in the specialty studied by them, as well as to receive financial remuneration. A positive assessment of the program was also the desire of the students to complete the training, despite the two-month break in March and April, imposed by the state of emergency declared in the country. The program is tailored to the learning process in high schools, and participation in it is the first step in the career development of young people. In 2019, five of the best performing students received an offer to work in the electricity distribution company.

Elektrodistribuenie Sever is an active participant in the life of young energy professionals, offering various partnerships and projects to schools with profile Electricity. At the end of the school year, representatives of the company were invited by several high schools in North-East Bulgaria to be part of the composition of the examination committees during the state graduation exams for the specialties “Electrical Power Engineering” and “Electrical Installations”. The company gives the participants of the “Young Electrician” program the opportunity to continue their practical training in the upcoming summer internship organized by Elektrodistribuenie North - “First steps in career”.
