Emergency teams of ERP North eliminated hundreds of accidents on the electricity distribution network in North-East Bulgaria
Closed roads still hamper access to a number of damaged facilities
More than 650 settlements in North-East Bulgaria are now with electricity restored after the many accidents caused by the severe weather situation yesterday.
Due to the large number of damaged facilities, ERP North mobilized an additional number of employees in order to be able to restore the electricity supply to customers in a short time. At the moment, nearly 200 teams of the company are working on the elimination of accidents on the electricity distribution network. More than 600 electricians are involved in restoring the power supply.
The main causes of the damage to the facilities are heavy snowfall and violent winds over the past day, which caused icing of numerous power lines, and in addition, downed trees broke wires in sections of the network. A problem for the teams of ERP North continues to be the closed roads of the second and third class municipal road network, which prevents access to the damaged sections of the network.
As of 1 pm on 28.11.2023 today there are still 174 settlements with 31,000 customers with interrupted power supply.
The committed teams of ERP North will continue to work until the full restoration of power supply to all affected settlements in the shortest possible time.
Up-to-date information about settlements with customers without power supply is available on the company's website at: https://www.energo-pro.bg/bg/novini/naseleni-mesta-bez-elektrozahranvane.
For single addresses without power supply, ERP North customers can send alerts to 0700 359 10 and 0700 161 61.
