ENERGO-PRO Energy Services supplies 100% green electricity to Eldominvest
Eldominvest is the fourth holder of a Green Energy Certificate in Bulgaria. The document proves that 100% of the electricity supplied to the company is produced from renewable sources. The certificate was officially handed over to the manager of Eldominwest, Eng. Yonka Velkovska-Georgieva, from the Executive Director of ENERGO-PRO Varna, Stefan Abadzhiev.
The green energy certificates of ENERGO-PRO Energy Services are based on the Guarantees of Origin issued by the Agency for Sustainable Energy Development. Each green energy certificate has a unique number, a certain period of validity and is kept in a public register. ENERGO-PRO Energy Services is the only supplier in Bulgaria that enables its customers to certify that the electricity purchased by them is produced entirely from renewable sources.
“At the heart of Eldominvest's long-term sustainable development strategy is the use and promotion of environmentally friendly technologies. In addition to being an established European manufacturer of energy-saving electrical appliances, we create a wide range of products working with renewable energy sources - sun and air. I am proud of the fact that all ELDOM appliances are manufactured on the latest generation assembly lines, where there are no harmful emissions. Eldominvest has been a member of the UN Global Compact for years. By awarding this Green Energy Certificate, we are sticking to the commitments we have made to the Global Compact,” said Eldominvest Manager, Eng. Yonka Velkovska-Georgieva.
“Green energy is already valued by Bulgarian businesses. There is a growing number of companies showing a strong interest in electricity produced from renewable sources. Our motto is to work in harmony with nature. In addition, ENERGO-PRO is the largest private energy producer of hydroelectric power plants in Bulgaria. We are pleased that in the person of Eldominvest we have found a very important partner in supporting the ecological production of electricity”, said Stefan Abadzhiev, Executive Director of ENERGO-PRO Varna.
