ENERGO-PRO Grids fully restored the electricity distribution network in Khitrino before winter

The electricity distribution network in the village of Hitrino has been fully restored after the destruction of the explosion on December 10, 2016. In support of the injured families whose homes were destroyed, ENERGO-PRO Networks at its own expense restored the cable diversions to the houses and installed new electricity meter panels.

In recent weeks, the company has re-inspected the facilities and prepared them for operation in winter conditions.

From the first minutes after the explosion, the specialists of the electricity distribution company were in Hitrino and worked in coordination with all organizations that participated in the recovery activities. Experts from ENERGO-PRO Networks and the General Directorate “Fire Safety and Protection of the Population” then carried out an inspection of the electrical installations in the affected homes in order to guarantee the life and health of people.

Within 10 days of the accident, the company's teams repaired the affected sections, and built a completely new network in three areas. 8 new reinforced concrete pillars were installed and nearly 2,000 meters of wires and insulators installed.

With the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the network carried out, a more secure and reliable electricity supply to the residents of Hitrino is guaranteed.
