ENERGO-PRO starts the preparation of the electricity distribution network for operation in winter
As every year at the end of summer ENERGO-PRO starts a number of activities to prepare the facilities of the electricity distribution network in North-East Bulgaria for operation in winter conditions.
Maintaining the network in good technical condition is a constant process and requires regular measures that the company's specialists take year-round. Before the onset of winter, the technical teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids carry out servicing, surveys, inspections and inspections of all electricity distribution facilities of the company - substations, substations, substations, cable lines and overhead power lines on the territory of the districts of Varna, Shumen, Dobrich, Targovishte, Silistra, Veliko Turku Gabrovo, Ruse and Razgrad.
If necessary, the company's specialists undertake emergency repairs to prevent accidents from occurring in adverse weather conditions or with traditionally higher consumption in winter. In parallel with the prevention and rehabilitation of the facilities, the company's vehicle fleet is being prepared, which includes more than 900 vehicles with high and normal passability, excavators, cranes, trucks and others. The necessary specialized tools, materials and stock are provided.
Conducting preparatory activities ensures the normal operation of the power distribution network in winter, as well as ensuring all conditions for a timely response of emergency teams in a complicated weather situation. The aim is to provide reliable electricity supply to people living in the territory of North-Eastern Bulgaria.
ENERGO-PRO Grids manages a power distribution network with a total length of 42,185 km. The company maintains 27 substations, 98 node stations, more than 11,000 substations, cable and air lines medium and low voltage in a licensed territory of 30,000 sq. km in North-Eastern Bulgaria.
