The management of ENERGO-PRO discussed with the Mayor of Gabrovo the development of the electricity distribution network in the municipality
The CEO of ENERGO-PRO Varna Momchil Andreev met with the Mayor of Gabrovo Municipality Tanya Hristova in connection with the company's investment program for the development of the electricity distribution network in the municipality in 2018. Priority projects for the municipality of Gabrovo were agreed, for which ENERGO-PRO will provide the necessary capacities and facilities for reliable electricity supply.
In 2018, Elektrodistribuenie North, part of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group, will increase investments in the electricity distribution network in the district by 16%. Projects worth BGN 5.1 million are to be implemented. Of these, BGN 2 million will be invested in the territory of Gabrovo municipality for the renovation of 3 key power lines that provide electricity to tens of thousands of customers. Reconstruction of sections of the air network is also planned, the export of panels and the installation of new electricity meters will continue.
During 2017, ENERGO-PRO invested 4.4 million leva in maintenance and development of the electricity distribution network in Gabrovo region. 40% of them are projects implemented on the territory of Gabrovo municipality — renovation of elements of the equipment of the substation “Sinkevica” and node station “Kantona”, which supply electricity to part of the city and nearby settlements in the municipality. Repair was carried out and telemechanics of the node station “Etera” has been built, which will speed up the detection and elimination of accidents that have occurred. Sections of medium and low voltage networks have been renovated, 1154 meter panels have been exported and new electricity meters have been installed.
The invested funds increased the quality of electricity supply on the territory of Gabrovo municipality - the number of interruptions in the electricity distribution network in 2017 decreased by 12.5% compared to 2016, and the duration of unplanned outages during the same period - by 12.4%.
During the meeting, initiatives of ENERGO-PRO Varna for easier and more convenient service to the company's customers were also discussed. Since 2013, ENERGO-PRO Varna has regularly organized offices in small settlements, where residents can take advantage of the services of the electricity distribution and electricity supply company without having to travel to the Customer Service Center in Gabrovo.
The CEO of ENERGO-PRO Varna expressed satisfaction with the good interaction of the company with the law enforcement agencies in Gabrovo to counter the theft of electricity. Thanks to the joint efforts in the last 5 years, 1,009 cases of illegal consumption have been found in the district. 57% of them are on the territory of the municipality of Gabrovo. 50 of the violators have two or more registered violations each. In the last three years, 25 people have been convicted of illegal electricity consumption on the territory of the district, 6 of whom have been given suspended sentences, and 19 people have been punished with probation.
The meeting of the CEO with the Mayor of Gabrovo is part of a series of initiatives of ENERGO-PRO Varna to actively cooperate with the local government and unite the efforts to implement projects for the benefit of the people living in North-East Bulgaria.
