ESO substation reconstruction may cause power supply disruptions for ERP Sever customers in the Veliko Tarnovo region

Due to substation reconstruction work requested by the Electricity System Operator (ESO), a temporary power supply scheme has been implemented in the Veliko Tarnovo region from August 10 to August 14, 2026. During this period, all ERP Sever customers in the city of Veliko Tarnovo and several surrounding settlements will be supplied via an alternative medium-voltage network.

This temporary technical arrangement is necessary to facilitate the reconstruction requested by ESO. Due to the non-standard power supply scheme during this period, disruptions may occur, and power restoration may take longer than usual due to limited backup supply options.
